Privacy Policy
Last updated 19 September 2026
This page explains what happens to information about you when you visit cheyanreelstate.agency — what is collected, why, who else sees it, and how to have it deleted. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
Who you are dealing with
Cheyan Reelstate (“we”, “us”) is a one-person video production business based in Canada, producing short-form listing reels for real estate agents, short-term rental hosts, and property managers.
For any privacy question, correction, or deletion request, write to cheyan@cheyan.agency. That inbox is monitored by the owner of the business, and is the fastest route to a human.
The short version
- There is no account to create and no form on this site that asks for your details.
- If you submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta passes your answers to us, and we use them to contact you about our service.
- We measure page visits so we know which ads are working.
- If you book a call or talk to the voice assistant, you hand over information on purpose, and this page explains where it goes.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we never have.
What is collected, and why
Automatically, on every visit
Our hosting provider and our advertising measurement tool record technical details each time a page loads. This happens whether or not you interact with anything.
- Technical request data — IP address, browser and device type, operating system, the page you viewed, the page that referred you, and the date and time.
- An advertising identifier — a random ID stored in your browser by the Whop Pixel, along with any advertising click identifiers present in the link you arrived through. This lets us tell that the same browser saw an ad and later visited the site.
We use this to keep the site running and secure, to understand how many people visit, and to measure which advertising is worth paying for. Nothing here tells us your name.
This measurement is shared onward with advertising platforms. Whop forwards conversion events — such as the fact that a visit followed an ad click — to the platforms we advertise on, including Meta. That is how an ad platform learns which ads produce results and stops wasting your money on the ones that do not.
When you submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram, and some of those ads open an instant form hosted by Meta rather than sending you to this site. If you submit one, you give Meta your name, email address, phone number, and answers to any questions the form asks, and Meta passes those answers to us.
We use them for one thing: to contact you about producing listing reels, and to follow up if you asked us to. Meta also holds a copy under its own privacy policy, and its handling of your information is governed by that policy, not this one.
If you would rather not hear from us, reply to any message and say so, or use the unsubscribe link in our emails, and we will stop. You can ask us to delete your lead record at any time.
When you book a call
The booking calendar on our home page is an embedded Cal.com scheduler. If you book, you give Cal.com your name, email address, chosen time, and anything you type into the notes field, and it is passed to us so we can show up to the call. We keep booking records for as long as needed to serve you and to keep ordinary business records.
When you use the voice assistant
The site offers an AI voice assistant powered by Retell AI. It starts only when you choose to start it, and it needs your microphone permission, which your browser will ask for. During a call it processes your speech and a text transcript of it in order to respond. If you say your name, email, or phone number, that becomes part of the transcript. Do not read out anything sensitive — payment card numbers, government ID numbers, or health information — to the assistant; it is not built to receive them.
When you email us
If you contact cheyan@cheyan.agency, we hold your message and address for as long as we are talking, and afterwards for ordinary business records.
When you become a client
To produce your reels we handle the listing photos, footage, addresses, and property details you send us, plus your contact and billing information. Client material is used to do the work you hired us for, and is not used to train any AI model of ours, nor sold or licensed to anyone.
Cookies and similar technology
This site does not use cookie banners because it sets no advertising cookies of its own beyond the measurement described above. The Whop Pixel stores an identifier in your browser. Embedded services set their own storage when you interact with them.
You can block all of it: use your browser's settings to refuse cookies and site data, use private browsing, or use a content blocker. The site's content works fine without any of it — only the measurement stops.
Who else receives information
We share only with the service providers that make the site work. Each has its own privacy policy, and each is responsible for what it does with the data it receives.
| Service | What it handles | Policy |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel | Hosting and server logs | vercel.com |
| Whop | Ad measurement and attribution | whop.com |
| Cal.com | Call bookings | cal.com |
| Retell AI | Voice assistant audio and transcripts | retellai.com |
| Meta | Facebook and Instagram ads, instant lead forms, conversion measurement | facebook.com |
| Google Fonts | Typefaces served to your browser | google.com |
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety. We do not sell your personal information for money. We do share advertising measurement data with the platforms above, which some laws — including California's — treat as “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising. You can opt out of it at any time by emailing us, or by blocking cookies and site data in your browser.
Where your information goes
We are based in Canada, but the providers above operate servers in other countries, including the United States. Information about your visit may be stored or processed outside Canada, where it can be subject to the laws of those countries, including lawful access by their courts and authorities.
How long it is kept
- Server logs and analytics — retained on a rolling basis by our providers, typically for months rather than years.
- Emails, bookings, and voice transcripts — kept while we are in contact and afterwards for ordinary business records.
- Client project files — kept for the life of the engagement and a reasonable period after, so we can re-deliver work you have paid for.
Ask us to delete something sooner and we will, unless we are legally required to keep it.
Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, and withdraw consent to further use. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have rights to access, correct, delete, export, and restrict or object to our use of your information. If you are in California, you have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of your information; see the note on advertising measurement above for what we share and how to stop it.
To use any of these rights, email cheyan@cheyan.agency. We will respond within 30 days. We will never charge you or treat you differently for asking.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or to your local data protection authority.
Children
This is a business-to-business service and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, API keys are held server-side and never sent to your browser, and access to client files is limited to the owner of the business. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Checking back occasionally is the reliable way to see where things stand.
